About Charlotte Thompson

Charlotte Thompson studied Spanish and Portuguese at University College London, England, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors. She spent her third year studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Charlotte speaks Spanish, Portuguese and French.

Ms. Thompson then earned a Master’s degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University and was among a group of Northwestern students recognized for their coverage of 9/11.

She also studied Spanish teaching at the Instituto Cervantes in London and has translated the book, The Secret in the Painting, from Spanish to English. She most recently wrote the article A Nonbinary Gender? How the Spanish transgender language is evolving published in The Language Magazine.
